What this feature does and when to use it?

Recruit CRM allows you to customize the appearance of your content using different fonts. You can select WebSafe fonts directly from the in-app editor or use custom HTML source code for additional font options.

Font customization is available when creating content such email templates, job descriptions, candidate summaries, or executive search reports.

This feature is useful when you want to:

  • Customize the appearance of your content.

  • Choose fonts directly from the Recruit CRM editor.

  • Apply custom fonts using HTML source code.

How to change fonts in Recruit CRM

You can customize fonts in Recruit CRM in two ways:

1. Use the in-app editor

  • Open the content you want to create or edit in Recruit CRM.

  • From the formatting toolbar above the text editor, click the Font dropdown.

  • Select your preferred font from the available options.

Please note: Only WebSafe fonts are available in this dropdown to ensure consistent viewing across all devices, operating systems, and browsers.

2. Use the source code

  • Open the content you want to create or edit.

  • Click the Source icon from the formatting toolbar.

  • Enter or paste your custom HTML source code into the editor and apply your changes.

Please note: While you can use any font in the source code, we recommend sticking to WebSafe fonts (such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana) to ensure consistent appearance across different devices, operating systems, and browsers.

What happens when you use non-WebSafe fonts?

How operating systems, devices or browsers affect the font:

When content is delivered/accessed, the operating system, browser, or device checks if the specified font is available. If not, it substitutes it with a similar available font.

Example:

Using non-WebSafe fonts like Calibri, Ink-Free, Roboto, Proxima-Nova, or Ronnia may cause inconsistencies in how your content appears to users depending on their device, operating system, or browser.

To ensure consistent styling and avoid potential visibility issues, we recommend using WebSafe fonts whenever possible.

Troubleshooting

Problem: My custom font looks different on another device.

Likely Cause: The selected font isn't available or supported on the device, operating system, or browser being used.

What to Check: Confirm whether you're using a non-WebSafe font through the source code.

Resolution: Use a WebSafe font to ensure a more consistent appearance across devices, operating systems, and browsers.
