Filter types for Advanced Search

Recruit CRM's Advanced Search feature lets you combine a powerful boolean search with column-level filters.

In this article, we will discuss the various filters available within Recruit CRM and how you can use them to improve your search criteria.

It's important to note that only fields you make visible on your list page appear in the filter search area of Advanced Search.

Is


The "Is" filter looks for an exact match of a keyword.

You can use it to find all the candidates who are located in a specific state or city, and it will exactly match the word you're searching for.


E.g. You can search for all the candidates located in "Delhi" using the "Is" filter.

Is not

The "Is Not" filter excludes records that do not fit a certain set of criteria.

You might use the "Is Not" filter to remove candidates who do not meet particular requirements.


E.g. You could use the "Is Not" filter to find any candidates who are not specified in a specific skill.

Is available

The "Is Available" filter will search for results where the information exists.

You can use the filter to look for records that have certain information available in their profile.

E.g. You can filter all the candidates that have an existing phone in the database.

Not available

The "Not Available" filter identifies records missing specific information.

Using the "Not Available" filter, you may filter out candidates who do not have the necessary abilities for a given job.

You might also use the "Not Available" filter to identify the candidates who do not have a specific qualification or remove candidates who do not have an email address or phone number in your database.

Begins with

The "Begin With" filter finds records starting with a keyword or a phrase.

E.g. You can search for all jobs that begin with the word "Product" using the "Begin With" filter.

End with

The "Ends With" filter finds records ending with a keyword or a phrase.

You could use the "Ends With" filter to find all the that end with a specific records keyword.

E.g. You can search for all jobs that begin with the word "Manager" using the "Ends With" filter.

Less than

You could filter out candidates who are looking for a job with a salary expectation of less than a certain amount using the "Less Than" filter.

Greater then

You could filter out candidates who are looking for a job with a salary expectation of greater than a certain amount using the "Greater Than" filter.

Between

You could use the "Between" filter to find all jobs that have a salary range between two specific amounts.

Contains

The "Contains" filter identifies records containing a specific keyword or criteria.

E.g. You could search for all candidates who have the word "marketing" in their resume using the "Contains" filter.

Not contains

The "Not Contains" filter allows to search for records that don't have a specific word or criteria.

E.g. You could search for contacts that don't have the title of manager.

Contains at least one

The "Contains At Least One" filter broadens the search to find entries that contain at least one of multiple keywords.

You could use the "Contains At Least One" filter to find all candidates who have at least one of several specific qualifications.

E.g. You could search for all candidates who have either "marketing" or "accounting" skills using the "Contains At Least One" filter.

Before

The "Before" filter filters out records that have been updated before a specific date.

You could use the "Before" filter to check which candidates had updated their profiles before a specific date.

After

The "After" filter filters out records that have been updated after a specific date.

You could use the "After" filter to check which candidates had updated their profiles before a specific date.
