Here’s a roundup of the latest product updates released in August 2026. Take a look at what’s new and how it can help you get more done.
📞 Contact Number on Call Log Card
See the contact number upfront right on the call log card!
The contact number is displayed directly on the call log card, so it’s visible at a glance without any extra clicks.
✅ Manual Consent for SMS
Recruit CRM lets you manually record SMS consent that was collected outside the platform. You can now select "Record Existing Consent" for a candidate or contact who has already provided valid SMS consent outside Recruit CRM. After you confirm that valid consent was obtained, it's recorded as "Manual" in Recruit CRM, along with an audit log entry.
This option is available only when the account's texting region is the US. Recruit CRM does not verify consent recorded manually. Please ensure that the consent is valid, properly documented, and compliant with applicable TCPA and carrier requirements.

💬 SMS Opt-in Optimisation
When you try to send SMS in bulk, candidates/contacts without recorded consent show an "SMS Consent Pending" validation. You'll need to record consent for those candidates/conatcts before you can send them bulk SMS messages.

💼 Share Jobs on Xing
Xing has been added to the "Share on" options on the job details page, alongside Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. You can share a job directly to Xing with a pre-populated post that includes the job link, right from the job details page.

📈 Candidate Pitch Pipeline Stages
The maximum number of stages on the candidate pitch pipeline has increased from 15 to 20. You can have up to 20 stages in your candidate pitch pipeline including the default stage.

🧑💼 Record Owner Visible on Chrome Extension Duplicate Detection Message
Know who owns a duplicate record before you save it. When the Chrome extension detects a duplicate candidate, company, or contact while you're sourcing, the duplicate message also shows the record's owner (for example: "Company Recruit CRM Already Exists In Your Database (Owner: John Doe). View In Recruit CRM.").
Skills Column Expands to Show All Skills
See every skill at a glance just by widening the column. On the candidate list page, widening the Skills column now reveals every skill pill for that candidate instead of hiding some behind a "+N" badge. At the default column width, the "+N" badge still appears, and hovering over it shows you a tooltip listing the remaining skills.
📊 Reports: Get accurate numbers. Filters reset with every click
If you applied a filter on a report's list page and then clicked a different bar in the chart, clicking a different bar opens the list page fresh, with no leftover filters. Filters are only preserved if you simply refresh the same page.
👀 Client Visibility Toggle for "Applied" Hiring Stage Candidates
Candidates in the "Applied" stage show a "Not Available" info icon instead of the client visibility toggle. Hovering over the icon shows you a message explaining that you'll need to change the stage from "Applied" to another hiring stage to update visibility.
🔍 See missing work and education history clearly
On the candidate list page, if a candidate has no work history or education history, it clearly shows "Not Available".
💬 "Add as Text" Option Back for Current Organization Field
For a candidate's Current Organization field, you can save it as plain text again, even if a matching company record already exists, instead of it always linking to a company. When you search a name, an "Add as Text" option appears alongside "Add as Company," restoring the flexibility that was previously available.
⏭️ Next/Prev Navigation Added to "Matched On" Resume Viewer
When you open a resume from the "Matched On" column in Boolean search results, you can now use Next/Previous to move between candidates, the same way you already can when opening resumes from anywhere else in the system. If a candidate's resume has no keyword match, a note lets you know; if no resume exists at all, it shows "Not Available."

📋 Show/Hide Columns on List Pages: Find fields faster. Without losing the rest of the list
In the Hide/Show Columns section, searching for a field no longer filters out the rest of the list. Instead, it scrolls to and highlights the matching field(s), with a counter (e.g., 1/2) to let you jump between matches. You can still drag and drop to reorder columns while a search is active.

➕ "Add" Actions on Details Pages No Longer Redirect You Away. Stay in context. Add records without leaving the page
Performing an "Add" action from a widget on a Candidate, Company, Contact, or Job details page would not redirect you to the newly created record's own details page. Now, you remain on the same details page after saving. A success toast message confirms the record was added, and the widget updates live with the new entry. This applies to actions like Add Job, Add Candidate, Add to Hotlist, Add Note, and Assign Candidates — for example, adding a Deal from the Related Deals widget no longer redirects you to that deal's details page.
📝 "Updated By" Column Added to Candidate List Page
The "Updated By" column, already available on other entity list pages, is now also available on the Candidate list page.
🔗 Linked Record Slug Added to Candidate/Contact Updated Triggers
The "Candidate Updated" and "Contact Updated" automation triggers now include the linked record's slug directly in the trigger response, so you no longer need an extra "Search for Contact/Candidate" step just to find the linked record.
🔍 Related To Filter in Call Logs List View
The Call Logs listing page includes a "Related To" filter, letting you filter your call logs by Candidate, Contact, and Company.
📋 Call Note Template While Making a Phone Call Through the App
You can insert a call note template directly from the calling widget — either while you're on a live call or right after the call ends (before saving the call log). This makes it faster to log consistent, structured call notes without leaving the calling widget.
⚙️ Contact Field in a Job
The contact field on a job lets you search and add contacts from anywhere in your account, not just contacts associated with the job's company. Contacts linked to the job's company still appear by default in the dropdown, but as soon as you start typing, the search returns matching contacts across your entire account (based on your view access).
🔠 Recruit CRM in Swedish
Swedish-speaking teams can now use Recruit CRM in their preferred language, making the platform easier to navigate and adopt across the team.

📝 More Custom Activity Types
You can create up to 100 custom types for Notes, Tasks, Calls, and Meetings, giving your team more flexibility to categorize activities around your own processes and reporting needs.
