Recruit Craft supports compliance-related elements within the job application form. This ensures that candidates see the correct policies and consent options based on your existing settings, without any additional configuration required. The experience stays aligned across platforms, helping you maintain accuracy, trust, and compliance throughout the application process.
⚙️ How it works
Compliance elements in the job application form are controlled entirely through your existing settings in Recruit CRM. Based on what is enabled or disabled, the form dynamically updates to display only the relevant sections.
The following elements are supported:
• Candidate Terms
• EEO Policy (Equal Employment Opportunity policy)
• SMS Terms
If any of these are disabled in your settings within Recruit CRM, they will not appear on the application form. This ensures that candidates only see what is applicable, keeping the form clean and relevant.
All labels, checkbox text, and content are pulled directly from your configured job application form settings in Recruit CRM. This means the wording remains consistent across Recruit Craft and Recruit CRM.
👀 What candidates will experience
When candidates apply for a job, they will see compliance-related sections based on your setup.
• Each policy (Candidate Terms, EEO, SMS Terms) appears as a checkbox with clearly defined text
• Clicking on any of these opens a detailed view with full policy information
• The content shown always matches what is configured in your system
This creates a transparent experience where candidates can review and understand the terms before submitting their application.
📩 SMS consent handling
If SMS Terms are enabled and a candidate opts in:
• Their consent is captured at the time of application submission
• This allows recruiters to send SMS communications only to candidates who have explicitly agreed
This ensures that all SMS outreach remains compliant and respects candidate preferences.
Please note: This is currently available only for users based in the US.
⚠️ Key things to note
• Compliance elements are shown only if they are enabled in your settings
• No additional setup is required in Recruit Craft
• All content and labels are automatically synced from your existing configuration
• This applies to accounts where the Candidate Portal is not enabled
💡 Why this matters
This improves both compliance and candidate experience:
• Ensures accurate and consistent policy display across platforms
• Eliminates the need for manual updates or duplicate configurations
• Builds trust by clearly communicating terms to candidates
• Helps you stay compliant with communication consent (especially for SMS)
