With this Custom Job Application Form URL feature, you can define a custom domain and URL pattern for job application forms, perfect for seamless branding and candidate experience. The custom URL replaces the default Recruit CRM job application form URL across multiple touchpoints, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
This feature is particularly helpful for users using Recruit Craft, custom APIs for career pages/site, and for directing applicants via job boards and XML feeds.
Note: Only the Account Owner, Admins, and users with custom permissions can set up the custom URL.
Choosing the Right URL Based on Your Setup
Depending on how your organization hosts job pages:
For this feature to work accurately, you need to use our API-built or RecruitCraft-powered pages under your company domain as the base URL.
If you have integrated Recruit CRM’s job listings using an iframe on your website, this feature will not apply directly.

If your company has built a custom career site using the Recruit CRM API, you can use that URL here. These pages are considered part of your own domain and fully support job slugs.

These URLs are generated by Recruit CRM’s own hosting service and cannot be reused as custom URLs.
Users who don’t have their own API-based job listings site cannot use this feature.
Where does the custom URL appear?
Once set, the custom URL will replace Recruit CRM’s default link in:
Job boards such as Broadbean, CV Library, and TotalJobs
XML feeds
API endpoints like Find Job by Slug, Search for Jobs, Get Job Application Form, Show All Jobs
The "Copy Job Application Form URL" button in the job details page.
Public job page application links
Note: As of now, this functionality is not available for free job boards.
How to set up a Custom Job Application URL?
The example in this article demonstrates the setup using a sample site built with RecruitCraft.
Only Admins can configure this setting.
1. Go to Admin Settings. Under Job Settings click on Public Job Page Settings
2. Open the Job Page Integration section scroll down to Custom Job Application URLs and toggle the setting ON
3. In the Configure Custom Branded URL field, enter your company’s base career site link for example in this case: https://recruitcraft.io/site/product
Recruit CRM will automatically append each job’s slug to this path. (You don’t need to type {job_slug} manually.)
The system immediately shows an example job URL below using the latest updated job’s data, confirming how it will appear for candidates.

4. You can turn on the "Append a job field to the end of the URL" option to add one more job field as a placeholder (only text or dropdown fields are supported).
Note: You can append the job field only if you have the same appended field in your base job application form URL on your careers page.
Notes:
This is a global setting that applies to all jobs in your account.
{job_slug}will be added mandatorily in the job application link once you configure it and only one additional job field can be added. A slug is a unique identifier for an entity in Recruit CRM, found in the URL after the last “/” on its profile page.
Spaces in placeholder values will be converted to hyphens (for example Marketing Manager becomes Marketing-Manager).
When you turn the toggle off, the system will revert to using Recruit CRM’s default application links, but your previous domain and configuration will be saved in case you toggle it back on.
The system checks for correct URL format before saving.
Recruit CRM does not validate the authenticity or correctness of the custom URL entered by the user.
6. Once the toggle is enabled and a URL is configured, the system will automatically replace Recruit CRM’s default job application form URL with the custom URL across all applicable locations, regardless of whether the target URL leads to a valid destination or contains a valid job.
It is entirely the user's responsibility to ensure the configured URL is functional, secure, and aligned with their job application URL flow.
Error Message for Incorrect Custom Job Application URL
If the URL entered in the custom job application field is incorrect, candidates will see a "404 error: This page could not be found" when they try to open the job application form.
Disabling the custom URL
Turn the Custom Job Application Form URL toggle OFF to immediately go back to Recruit CRM’s default job application links.
