To improve the email service performance within the app, Recruit CRM has partnered with Nylas.com to make it more robust.

It will take up to 2-3 hours for your initial folders to sync with Recruit CRM and it may take up to 24 hours for your older emails to sync completely. This is just a one-time activity when you connect your email to Recruit CRM using Nylas for the first time.

Connecting your Outlook/Office365 email

2. You'll get an option to connect your email accounts. You can connect up to two emails at a time.

NOTE: 2 email connection is only available for users in the Business Plan.

One email must be set as the default for sending emails, but you can switch between emails as needed.

If only one email is connected, it will automatically be set as the default.

2. Enter the email that you wish to connect to Recruit CRM

4. It will redirect you to the respective Nylas login page:

If it is an Office365 email, the system will automatically redirect you to the Microsoft/Office365 website. You just need to enter your password and allow permissions and you'll be good to go 👍

5. Allow all the permissions and hit "continue" to confirm your permissions.

Once the account is verified, your email will be connected to Recruit CRM.

6. You can access your mailbox from the menu bar on the left:

Your mailbox in Recruit CRM will mirror your Outlook mailbox, meaning all the existing folders and emails will be the same.

7. You can also switch between mailboxes of the emails connected:

In certain instances, when you are not the Admin of your Microsoft/ Office365 account you will get the following message:

As you are connecting your email through Nylas for the first time, it requires permission from the Admin of your Microsoft/ Office365 account to access the mailbox.

In this case, you’ll need to contact one of your Microsoft/ Office365 administrators (anyone with an admin email ID) and ask them to connect their email to Recruit CRM once and allow relevant permissions and access. Once this is done other users under the same domain/ account can connect their email to Recruit CRM.

Connecting Microsoft Office 365 accounts using IMAP settings

If you are using any one of the following types of Microsoft Office 365 accounts:

  • Office 365 family

  • Office 365 personal

  • Office 365 free

As they are with a private group you will need to connect via the "Custom IMAP settings" option. For this click on the "Select a different provider" option on the first login page:
