How to use Direct Apply for Seek (New UI) | Recruit CRM

What this feature does and when to use it?

Through this feature, when you post jobs to Indeed through Recruit CRM, you can choose the application method, whether candidates apply directly through Direct Apply, or they get redirected to another page to complete the application.

This helps streamline the application process and reduce friction.

Note

Ads are listed for 30 days by default, which is also the maximum allowed duration.
Any requests for listings exceeding 30 days will automatically default to the standard 30-day period.
Ads are also sent to candidates through notifications.
Ad prices are variable and can change over time. Scheduled ads will be charged at the price of that ad on the day it's posted.
Estimates for started applications are based on SEEK's data for similar roles. We do not guarantee that your ad will attract this number of started or completed applications.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Go to the job you want to post, and click on Advertise Job.

2. You can edit the pre-filled name of your campaign or simply click Continue to keep it as it is.

3. On the Added Contracts page, you’ll see all your connected job board accounts.

4. Click Add to Campaign under your Seek contract.

How to add your Seek contract to your job advertising subscription

To activate SEEK, please request your Organization ID (also referred to as Hirer ID) and Contract Type (Agency, Company) from your contact person at SEEK. Your Organization ID follows this format: "seekAnz:organization:seek:XXXXXX".

You must also ask SEEK to enable the integration for your ATS by following the activation steps found here:

Search the dropdown list on that page for your respective ATS and select it. If your ATS does not appear in the list, contact your ATS representative and request that SEEK be added.
Once listed, sign into your account and submit an access request.
This will notify SEEK to enable the necessary permissions for job posting to function.

Note: For SEEK to enable the necessary permissions for job posting to function it can take up to 3 days.

Your integration with SEEK will be activated once all steps are completed and SEEK has confirmed activation on their side.

Depending on the location of your vacancy, your job will become visible in one of the countries SEEK operates in, which includes the sites JobStreet and JobsDB.

Please note: Your Organization ID is also referred to as your Hirer ID and follows this format:seekAnz:organization:seek:XXXXXX

5. You’ll be asked to select or create a "Groups". These are inbuilt and act as folders for job board contracts, allowing only one contract per job board type per group.

You’ll see existing options like a Default group and a Test group, or you can create a new group and rename it as needed. Once added, you can save the changes, as well as rename or remove the group.

6. Fill the fields under Posting Requirements in the Contract details section and once you’ve filled in all the details for your posting, scroll down to Application Type. Here, choose Seek Apply.

Finally hit the "Confirm & Post Job" button. That's it!

When you select Seek Apply as the application type, candidates complete their application directly on Seek instead of being redirected to the Recruit CRM Job Application form.
