What this feature does and when to use it?
Free job posting automatically sends eligible jobs to partner job boards through XML feeds, helping you advertise roles across multiple platforms without manually posting on each one. Applications received through these job boards are automatically captured in Recruit CRM as candidate records.
This feature is especially useful when you want to:
• Advertise jobs on multiple free job boards automatically.
• Receive applications directly into Recruit CRM.

📌 Important notes on specific boards:
Adzuna, Post Job Free, My Job Helper, Jooble, and Twine: You must explicitly select them in the XML feeds field when adding or editing each job.
Jooble Direct Apply: On Jooble, applicants see a Direct Apply option rather than being redirected to your application page. Recruit CRM will not receive data for any custom fields or mandatory fields you have added to your application form when candidates apply through this method.
Before You Begin:
Admin access required for global settings: Only users with access to Admin Settings can configure Job Fields, Job Custom Fields, and Build Job Feed XML. Recruiters and team members handle job-level settings only.
This is a free integration: Recruit CRM includes your job in the XML feed when it meets all criteria, but each partner job board makes its own decision about whether to publish the job. Meeting all requirements in Recruit CRM does not guarantee the job will appear on every board.
Step-by-step instructions
The first step is to make sure all the necessary criteria are met for the jobs to be visible on the XML Feed and posted on the free job boards.
1. Enable global settings for Job Application form visibility
Before jobs can be posted to free job boards, the required account-level settings must be enabled.
Go to Admin Settings in Recruit CRM and open Job Fields under the Data Customisation section.
Ensure the Default Job Application Form Visibility checkbox is enabled.Once the Default Job Application Form Visibility is enabled, make sure to select the Post on Job Boards option.
If this setting is disabled, jobs will not be posted on your website or partner job boards.
2. Enable the Job Application Form for the job.
In the Add/Edit Job form, scroll to the Job Application Form section and make sure the checkbox for Enable Job Application Form is selected.
3. Keep the “Updated On” date within the last 30 days.
The job must have been updated within the last 30 days. Jobs that have not been updated during this period are excluded from the XML feed.
4. Fill in all fields marked “Required to post on partner job boards”
Open the job form and fill in all fields labeled Required to post on partner job boards.
This currently includes fields such as City, State, Country, Maximum Salary, Job Description, Currency and Salary Type.
Please note:
• Both full names and initials are accepted in required fields.
• Required fields may change over time based on partner job board requirements.
5. Fill the “Note for candidate” field when using a file-based job description
If the Job Description is uploaded as a file instead of entered as text, the Note for Candidate field must also be completed for the job to qualify for posting.
6. The job status should not be 'closed', 'on hold' or 'cancelled'.
A job must have the status set to Open in order to be eligible for posting on job boards in Recruit CRM. Jobs with statuses like Closed, On Hold, or Cancelled cannot be posted.
7. Select “Free Job Boards” in the XML Feeds section.
Recruit CRM allows you to selectively push jobs to specific XML feeds, helping you control which job boards receive each posting.
While creating or editing a job, locate the XML Feeds field and select Free Job Boards from the available feed list. Save the job after making your selection.
If you want the job to appear on specific partner job boards such as Adzuna, Post Job Free, My Job Helper, Jooble, Twine, make sure those boards are also selected in the XML feed options for that job.
You can choose from both:
• Default XML feeds provided by Recruit CRM
• Custom XML feeds created by your team
Please note that XML feed selection will only work if the Post on Job Board option is enabled under the Job Fields settings, as mentioned in Step 1.
You can also preselect XML feeds from the Build Job Feed XML page. When preselected, those XML feeds will automatically be selected for all newly created jobs.
If you do not want a job to be posted to the Free Job Boards XML feed automatically, you can:
• Disable the XML feed preselection from the Build Job Feed XML page, or
• Manually uncheck the XML feed while creating or editing the job.
Please note:
• Jobs will only be indexed and pushed to external job boards if all the eligibility requirements mentioned above are met.
• Once all required details are added, the job goes through a review process. If everything is fine, Recruit CRM pushes the job to partner job boards automatically.
• Since this is a free integration, the final decision to publish the job remains with the respective job board. Each partner board follows its own review criteria, and some jobs may not qualify based on their internal requirements.
Verify Whether a Job Was Posted
Use the following three methods to confirm that a job is live on partner job boards.
Method 1: Check the Build Job Feed XML Listing
Go to Admin Settings → Build Job Feed XML.
Click View Listed Jobs for the Free Job Boards feed or for the other Job Boards that you have selected.
Review the list. All jobs that currently meet all eligibility criteria will appear here. If a job is missing from the list, at least one eligibility criterion is not being met."
💡 Tip: You can also run an Advanced Search on the Jobs List page to view all jobs where XML feeds have been selected.
Method 2: Search the Partner Job Board Website Directly
Go to the relevant partner job board website, for example, ZipRecruiter or Talent.com.
Search for the job by title, location, or other identifying details to check if the job was posted.
Once the candidate clicks on the "Apply on Website" button, they will be redirected to your website where the job is posted. There they can read the job description and apply for that job.
Method 3: Track Applications via the Source Field
Enable the Source field in Candidate Fields if it is not already visible on candidate records.
When a candidate applies externally from a job board, the Source field on their candidate record will display the name of the job board they applied from.
You can run an Advanced Search on the Source field from the Candidate List page to filter and see all candidates who came from specific job boards.
Get applications for jobs posted on free job boards
When a candidate fills out the application form (either via your website or through an Apply on Website button on a job board), Recruit CRM will:
• Add the application as a candidate record.
• Notify you inside Recruit CRM.
1. Go to the Candidate List page and use Quick View to see all website applications.
2. Review the Source field for each candidate to confirm which job board the application came from.
Post jobs on other portals
If you want to post jobs on other portals that are not part of the free partner job boards:
1. Go to the Jobs page in Recruit CRM and open the specific job you want to post.
2. Copy the job application URL inside the job.
3. Paste and share this URL:
• On social media platforms. You can know more about sharing jobs on Social Media here.
• In adverts or listings on job boards you already partner with.
5. Optionally, you can create your own custom XML feed:
• You can build a custom XML feed to integrate directly with other job boards.
• Configure this in the Build Job Feed XML area, then select this custom feed in the job’s XML feeds section when adding or editing the job.
