What this feature does and when to use it?
The Indeed XML Feed integration allows you to automatically publish sponsored jobs from Recruit CRM to Indeed using an XML feed. Once configured, eligible jobs are sent directly to your Indeed paid feed, while applications submitted through Indeed are redirected to Recruit CRM and automatically added to your database. This helps streamline job advertising and applicant management without requiring manual posting.

Use this feature when:
• You want to post and sponsor jobs on Indeed directly from Recruit CRM.
• You need to automatically publish eligible jobs to an Indeed XML feed.
• You want applications from Indeed to flow directly into Recruit CRM and track candidates by their application source.
The integration lets you selectively include or exclude jobs from the XML feed, automatically assign XML feeds to new jobs, and ensure all Indeed applicants are captured within Recruit CRM, making it easier to manage job advertising and candidate sourcing from a single platform.
How to get a job posted on the Indeed XML Feed
1. Account verification
Note: All new and existing accounts are required to verify the account starting January 1, 2025.
The first step is to make sure your account is verified with Recruit CRM from the account management settings.
Here, fill in all the account information and click on "Verify Account".
In case the auto-verification fails, you have the option to send a manual request to our team.
Once the account is verified, you will receive an in-app notification and email notification that your account is enabled for job postings on Indeed.
In case you update any account information, you will have to verify the account again.
2. Making sure your jobs meet Indeed's publishing criteria
Please note that users on Recruit CRM's free plan can not integrate with Indeed.

1. The job application form should be enabled. This can be enabled while creating or editing the job.
2. The Updated On date should be within the last 30 days;
3. All the fields where you see the message "Required To Post On Partner Job Boards" (City, State, Country, Maximum Salary, Job Description, Currency, Salary Type) need to have a value.
Adding city, state, country, and postal code fields is mandatory only if the job type is hybrid or onsite. If it's remote, it's not mandatory.
4. 'Note for candidates' should be filled in (only if the Job Description is uploaded as a file)
5. The "Post On Job Boards" option should be selected inside Admin Settings >> Job Custom Fields.
6. The job status should not be 'closed', 'on hold' or 'canceled'.
7. Jobs posted on Indeed should be EEO compliant. Discrimination on the basis of age, sex, marital status, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability is not tolerated. Discrimination based on language is not permitted either.
If point 7 is not complied with, it could result in a ban of your with Indeed.
8. The job description should be well-formed with at least 300 characters. Emojis are not allowed in the description and the title.
9. You need to sponsor your jobs on Indeed. Free posting is not allowed as per the Indeed guidelines.
Points to note
Recruit CRM can take action against accounts if any spam or fraudulent job is posted to Indeed.
Only the job types full-time and part-time are mapped to the Indeed field.
Experience is considered as minimum experience. For instance, if you add 5 years on Recruit CRM, on Indeed it will reflect as 5+ years.
Salary description on Indeed is based on how salary fields are added:
If Max salary = Min Salary, the salary field will have a single value (e.g., "Pay: $15 per hour").
If Max salary > Min salary, the salary field will have a range between two amounts (e.g., "Pay: $10-15 per hour").
If only Min salary is present, the salary field will have “from” (e.g., "Pay: From $10 per hour").
if only Max salary is present, the salary field will have “up to” (e.g., "Pay: up to $10 per hour").
If you don't want to share salary information this field can be left blank and salary will not appear on the XML feed.
3. Select "Indeed" under the XML Feeds section:
You have the ability to selectively push job postings to specific XML feeds.
While adding/editing a job, you'll get an option to select the XML feeds from both the default and custom XML feeds that you have built, provided the 'Post on Job Board' option is enabled from the Job Fields settings.
While creating a new job or editing an existing one, make sure you select "Indeed" in the XML Feeds section to get your jobs posted on the correct XML Feed.
By selecting the appropriate XML feeds, you can ensure that your jobs reach the intended audience through the most relevant job boards.
You also have the option to preselect the XML feeds in the Build Job Feed XML page. This means the XML Feed will automatically be selected for all the new jobs created.
If you don't want a job to be automatically posted on the Indeed XML Feed, you can simply disable the preselection on the Build Job Feed XML or uncheck the XML Feed while creating/editing the job:
The jobs will be indexed to Indeed and other external boards only if the requirements given above are met.
After fulfilling the necessary criteria, the jobs will be visible on the Indeed XML Feed.
How to integrate with Indeed?
The next step is to copy and integrate the XML Feed URL with Indeed.
1. To access the XML feed, go to Admin Settings >>>> Build Job Feed XML.
2. Click on the XML Feed URL for Indeed.
3. You'll be redirected to a new page with the XML Feed page source. Copy the URL and submit it to your Indeed account manager.
First, an Indeed account must be created for the integration to work. If you have a paid Indeed account, you'll have a dedicated account manager and can share the XML feed with them directly.
How to verify which jobs are being pushed to the Indeed XML Feed
You can check the list of jobs being pushed to Indeed's XML Feed by going to Admin Settings >>>>>> Build Job Feed XML.
Here you can click on "View Listed Jobs" to get a list of all the jobs in your account that currently meet the required criteria:
You can also run an Advanced Search inside the Jobs List Page to see all the jobs that have been posted on Indeed (including old jobs that are no longer being pushed to the XML feed).
If one of your jobs is not on the list, one of the necessary criteria is not being met.
Applicants will be auto-directed to your Recruit CRM Job Application forms and they will be directly added to your Recruit CRM database.
How will you get applications for the jobs?
When a candidate fills out the application form, you'll be notified in Recruit CRM.
You can see all the website applicants on the candidate list page.
You can also specifically look for Indeed applicant candidates in your database by enabling the Source field in Candidate Fields:
With the Source field, you'll be able to track the origin of how the candidate was added to the system. If the candidate applies externally, the name of the job board will be mentioned in the field:
