💸 How Billing and Pricing work in Recruit Craft

Recruit Craft’s pricing is designed to be simple and flexible, so you only pay for what you need. Plans are based on the maximum number of jobs you can post on your website through Recruit Craft.

The plans will be automatically updated to match your current increased job posting needs. This ensures you’ll always be on a plan that supports the number of jobs you want to display, providing a smooth experience without interruptions.

✅ Upgrading from the Free Trial Account

When you first sign up for Recruit Craft, you’re automatically placed on a free trial account. With the free plan, you can connect your Recruit CRM account using your API key and preview your jobs in real time. The preview gives you a clear view of exactly how your jobs will appear once published, helping you set everything up just the way you want before going live. When you’re ready to post jobs publicly, upgrading is quick and effortless.

Now, follow along to upgrade your plan from the Free plan.

1. Look to the top right corner of your screen and click Upgrade Now. You can also click your profile icon, go to Settings, and select Plans and Billing from the left-hand panel.

2. You’ll now see a list of plans tailored to your needs. The options will automatically adjust based on the number of open jobs in your Recruit CRM account. For example, if you have 20 open jobs, only plans that support 20 or more jobs will be shown. You can also switch between Annual and Monthly billing at the top of the page, depending on your preference.

3. Choose the plan that works best for your hiring needs and click Get Started.

4. A summary page will display all the choices you’ve made. If needed, you can still adjust the plan from the dropdown menu before moving forward.

5. Once you’ve confirmed everything looks correct, click Proceed to Purchase.

6. The system will ask you to check your details one final time. When you’re ready, click Confirm and Pay. The payment will be processed through the card on file that’s registered in your Recruit CRM account.

7. The charge will be processed through your Recruit CRM Stripe account.

⚠️ Important: If your Recruit CRM account is currently on the FREE plan, you’ll need to upgrade your Recruit CRM account first before completing the Recruit Craft upgrade.

🔼Upgrading an existing subscription

Recruit Craft uses a dynamic billing system that adjusts plans based on how many jobs you have published. This ensures that your plan always aligns with your usage, without interrupting your hiring process. Additionally, you’ll receive email notifications whenever your job limit is crossed, keeping you informed and alert so you can take timely action.

Automatic Upgrade
If your job count exceeds the limit of your current plan for two consecutive days, Recruit Craft will automatically upgrade you to the next available tier.

  • Proration of Fees – You won’t be billed the full amount for the new plan immediately. Instead, Recruit Craft calculates a prorated fee based on the number of days left in your billing cycle. This charge begins from the day your job count exceeds your plan’s limit.

  • Invoice Update – The prorated charge is added to your card on file, and you’ll see this adjustment reflected in your next invoice.

Example of Automatic Upgrade
Imagine you are on the 6 to 15 Jobs plan and have 15 jobs published. If you publish a 16th job and maintain 16 jobs for two days in a row, the system will automatically upgrade you to the 16 to 50 Jobs plan. You will only be charged the prorated amount for the remaining days of your billing cycle at the new plan rate.

Manual Upgrade Option
If you prefer, you can manually upgrade your account at any time by following the same steps outlined for upgrading from a free trial. Just head to your profile, go to Settings, select Plans and Billing, and choose the new plan that suits your needs.

🔽 Downgrading an account

If your hiring needs change and you’re managing fewer jobs, Recruit Craft gives you the flexibility to downgrade your plan to something more suitable.

Follow these steps to make the switch:

1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of your screen and go to Settings.

2. Once inside the Profile Settings, navigate to the left-hand panel, and select Plans and Billing.

3. You’ll now be able to see your current plan along with other plans you can move to. If the plan you want is available, simply click Get Started on that option.

Please note

You can only downgrade if your open jobs are less than the limit of the plan you’re moving to. If your published or open jobs are more than that limit, the option to downgrade will be greyed out. The job count must also be below the starting limit of your current plan at the time of the request, if it’s equal to or higher, the downgrade won’t go through.

For example: If you’re on the 16 to 50 Jobs plan and your job count drops to 13, you can request a downgrade to the 6 to 15 Jobs plan. Once validated, the downgrade will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

4. After selecting your new plan, review the details and note the effective date. Click Proceed to Purchase to continue.

5. Review everything carefully and click Confirm Downgrade.

You’ve now successfully downgraded your account! The new plan will take effect from the start of your next billing cycle, whether you’re on a monthly or annual subscription.

Once a downgrade has been initiated, if your job count increases beyond the limit of the selected downgraded plan, the downgrade will automatically be cancelled.

Recruit Craft’s pricing and billing system is designed to keep things simple and flexible, so you can focus on hiring while we handle the details. Whether you’re upgrading, downgrading, or just exploring your options, the process is straightforward and transparent.
