What this feature does & when to use it?
Recruit CRM’s Advanced Search feature helps recruiters quickly find candidates using AI Search, filters, and activity-based search options. AI Search lets you search in natural language and automatically applies the relevant Boolean search and filters. You can search through candidate profiles, resumes, candidate attachments, notes, call logs, meetings, and tasks, then save your search criteria for future use to locate the exact records you need faster and more accurately.

Step-by-step instructions
1. AI Search
Enter your query in natural language in the AI Search bar. Recruit CRM automatically determines whether it needs to run a Boolean query alone, or a Boolean query along with filters.
AI Search is turned on by default and resets to ON each time you return to the page.
Filters are automatically added when they help capture criteria that Boolean search cannot fully represent, and duplicate filters are avoided when Boolean search alone can already handle the query.
When Boolean search is used, you can combine AND, OR, and NOT operators to narrow down your search results.
Use the Contains search option to find records that include a specific keyword, even if the exact phrase does not match. For example, searching for ‘sales’ may return results such as ‘sales manager,’ ‘international sales,’ or ‘business sales.
Select the sources you want to search, including:
Candidates (candidate fields and the resume uploaded in the default Resume field)
Files (candidate attachments in PDF, DOC, and DOCX formats, excluding the default resume)
Notes
Call Logs
Tasks
Meetings
The Candidates and Files options work independently, allowing you to search either source individually or both together. When searching attachments, Recruit CRM searches the 10 most recent updated files for each candidate.
2. Save Search
Click Save Search to store your search criteria for future use.
Once saved, the search will appear under the Quick View section in the Saved Searches tab.
Please note: When you save an AI Search, the generated search and filters are saved. The original natural-language prompt is not saved.
To clear your current AI search, click the Reset button.
3. Review and edit filters
AI Search can automatically generate filters based on your search. You can review, edit, or add filters manually using the Add Filters option.
If filters already exist when you run a new AI Search, you’ll be asked to confirm before they are cleared. Select Reset and Search to remove the existing filters and run the new search, or Cancel to keep them.
To further narrow down candidates based on location, you can also use Radius Search in Recruit CRM.
4. Search on Activity Fields
AI Search can also identify relevant information across notes, call logs, tasks, and meetings.
In Classic View, some activity-based criteria may not be available as filters and will continue to be handled through Boolean search where supported.
Please note: AI Search is currently available on the Candidates list page. It is not currently available on the Assigned Candidates list or for Jobs, Companies, Contacts, or Deals.
