Contact Stage (Sales Pipeline)

Helps you understand the progress of the client relationship

Contact Stage is a contact (client) property that indicates where a contact (client) is in your marketing/sales funnel.

There are 2 ways in which you can change the Stage of a contact.


Option 1: To change the contact stage from the contact list page


Select a bunch of contacts whose Stage you want to change and click on the "Update Field" button.

Select the "Stage" option from the drop-down.

Choose an appropriate Sales/Contact Stage from the list.

After selecting the desired stage, you will have the option to enter a reason for the change. Once you have provided your reason, simply click on 'Submit' to finalize the update.

You can also update the contact stage directly from the main contact page by using the 'Stage' column of any contact.


Option 2: From within the contact


Click on the Contact name.

Click on the contact stage that is towards the right of the contact name.

Clicking on the contact stage will open a drop-down list where you can select the desired stage and provide a reason for the change.

Contact Stage History


This feature is currently in beta and will gradually released to all users in 1-2 weeks.

You can easily view the history of changes made to the contact stages, allowing you to visualize every stage the contact has gone through and the reasons for each change.

To view the history of stages, click on the 'Remarks' icon next to the contact stage in the contact's profile.

You'll see all the stages the contact has gone through, along with the remarks (reasons) for each change, the date each stage was updated, and the user who made the update.


This will help you monitor your sales pipeline.
