Enabling Support Access in Recruit CRM

This article will guide you on how to grant support access to the Customer Success/Support Agent

Written by Likhitha Satya Maansi Rudra

Support Access is a feature that allows authorized Recruit CRM support agents to temporarily access your account in order to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issue(s).

The access is controlled by you and governed by strict permissions, expiration rules, and session management to ensure security and transparency.

📋 Steps to enable Support Access

Note: Only the Account Owners can enable support access to the Recruit CRM support agents to investigate issues.

1. Navigate to Admin Settings. Click on 'Account' under the Account Management section.

2. Scroll down to the 'Support Access' section.

To grant access, you must provide:

  • Reason for granting access: Mandatory description of why access is being provided.

  • Expiration date: Defines the validity period till when the Recruit CRM support agent can access your account. Post that, permission will be revoked automatically.

3. After entering the asked details, click on the 'Grant' button.

Note: Support Access should ideally be enabled for short, issue-specific durations (not more than 2 weeks), rather than extended periods.

Once the required assistance is completed. We recommend revoking the access as explained in the next step.

  • With your explicit permission, this feature will allow our agent to access your account remotely to check for the issues or errors to help troubleshoot or support your needs more effectively.

  • Please note that once permission is granted, the team may access your account multiple times until the permission expires or is revoked.

  • Support Access Permission can be revoked at any time by clicking on the 'Revoke' button from here.

  • Once the expiration date is reached or if the access is revoked manually by you, support agents will not be able to access your account, and for any new issue, support access permission needs to be given again from your side.

4. You will be able to view details of the active Recruit CRM support agent on the 'Support Agent' role under your 'User Management' section when we access your account in order to troubleshoot, investigate, or resolve issues.

You will be able to find the 'Support Agent' role under 'User Management >>> 'Roles and Permissions' section. You can click on the role to view the permissions/actions that the support agent can perform.

Note: The 'Support Agent' role cannot be assigned to any of your teammates on your account.

Enabling Support Access allows our team to assist you more efficiently. With strict permissions, time-bound access, and complete transparency, this feature is designed to provide secure and seamless support whenever required.

Hope this helps! 😊
