What this feature does and when to use it?
Recruit CRM lets you pitch or market candidates discreetly to multiple hiring managers/contacts without needing to assign them to a job role. You can use this feature when:
You want to market a strong candidate profile to multiple clients without linking them to a specific job.
You need to track which candidates were shared with which contacts for reporting or follow-up.
You want to send candidate CVs and summaries as structured emails directly from Recruit CRM.
The candidate won't receive an email when you send their application to a contact.
This way, you can record if you shared Candidate CVs with your clients, even if the candidate isn't assigned to any specific job.
Before you begin:
Make sure your email is connected inside Recruit CRM, so you can send emails directly from Recruit CRM.
Step-by-step instructions on Pitching a single candidate
1. Go to the relevant candidate’s profile.
2. Click the three-dot (ellipsis) button and select 'Pitch Candidates'.
Alternatively, scroll to the middle of the candidate profile and click the Contacts Pitched widget to begin the pitch process.
3. Now you will be redirected to a page to select the contacts you want to pitch this candidate with and click on the Select fields and email contacts option (or you can mark the candidate as pitched if you have already pitched outside of Recruit CRM):
4. Select the candidate fields (including file/document fields) you wish to share with the contact, and then click on the "Generate Email" button:
In the File Columns section, you'll be able to select the option "Summary".
The Candidate Summary will be converted into a .pdf file and attached to the pitch email. The file name generated will follow numeric order, to prevent sharing the name of the pitched record.
5. You can now see an email is generated with the fields you selected, ready to be sent to the contacts you selected individually (Recruit CRM sends an individual email to each contact listed in the To field so that recipients are not aware the email is being sent to multiple contacts):
Pitching multiple candidates from the list view
This can also be done with multiple candidates from the list view by just selecting candidates & clicking on the "Pitch Candidate(s)" button that appears.
Note: You can pitch a maximum of 20 candidates at a time.
Viewing candidates pitched
Once you have pitched the candidate(s), you will be able to track this pitch on both the candidates' & contacts' profiles.
On the candidate's profile, you will find the "Contact(s) pitched" widget which has a timestamp with the name of the user who made the pitch to keep you organized.
Similarly, from contact profiles: On the contact's profile, you will find the "Candidate(s) pitched" widget.
Track and Update Pitches from Contact Profiles
Once you receive a status update from the contact about a candidate, click on the pitch stage value and select a new stage (for example, Pitched) from the options you have customized in your system.
You can add a Remark or Feedback for future reference. Don't forget to hit Submit :)
How to view a list of all the candidates I have pitched in Recruit CRM?
Recruit CRM enables you to view all the candidates pitched by any team members by generating a report. This report provides a clear list based on their specific activities as a user.
Access the Reports Section > Team Performance Report.
Choose the team members in the report filters, and the time period.
Select the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as stages from your Pitch Candidate pipeline, such as "Candidate Pitched - Pitched".
Click on the option to generate the report. Once the report is displayed, you will see a bar graph summarizing your pitching activity.
Click on the bar graph. This will lead you to a detailed list of all candidates the selected team members have pitched.
