What this feature does and when to use it?

This feature lets you parse resume or CV attachments from an email in your Recruit CRM mailbox into candidate records.

You can use this feature when:

  • You receive resumes or CVs as email attachments and want to create candidate profiles quickly.

  • You need to parse multiple CVs from a single email into candidate records.

  • You want to add an email sender as a candidate/contact.

Parse resumes or CVs into candidates from your mailbox:

  1. Go into your Recruit CRM mailbox and open the email that has the CV or resume attached.

  2. In the opened email, locate the green button that reads “Parse attachments into candidates.”

3. Click on the “Parse attachments into candidates” button to open the parsing pop-up.

4. In the pop-up, select the CV or CVs that you wish to parse. Click on the “Parse Resume” button to start parsing the selected CVs.

You will get the option to:

  • Compose an email to the candidate.

  • Add notes to the candidate record.

  • Assign an owner.

  • Update fields.

  • Assign the candidate to a job.

  • Add the candidate to a hotlist.

Add a mailer as a candidate or contact from your mailbox:

  1. Go to your mailbox and open the email whose mailer you want to add as a candidate or contact.

  2. Hover your cursor over the plus button in the email view.

  3. In the options that appear, choose whether to add the mailer as a candidate or as a contact.

  4. Click on “Add as a candidate” or “Add as a contact.”

5. In the form that opens, fill out all the necessary fields for the candidate or contact profile.

6.Click Submit to save the new candidate or contact record.

Troubleshooting

Problem: The “Parse attachments into candidates” button does not appear in the email view.

Likely cause: The email may not contain a CV or resume attachment, or the mailbox view is not the Recruit CRM mailbox.
What to check: Confirm you are in the Recruit CRM mailbox and that the email includes at least one CV or resume attachment.
Resolution: Open the correct email in the Recruit CRM mailbox that has CV or resume attachments and check again for the green “Parse attachments into candidates” button.
