Tired of manually reformatting Resumes?

Our Resume/CV formatting feature will help you add personalized headers, footers, and watermarks on each resume sent to clients in just a few clicks.

The first step is to set up your templates for branding the Resumes. (You can create multiple templates and use them accordingly).

1. Go to “Admin Settings” and click on “Resume Formatting Settings” under CRM Process Customization.

2. You will now see the options: Header templates, Footer templates, Cover letter templates, and Watermark templates. You can now create customized templates for each of these.

Header and Footer templates

The header will be displayed at the top part of the Formatted Resume/ CV and the footer at the bottom.

To create a Header template:

1. Click on the blue button “New header” under Header templates.

2. Give your template a name under the "Template Name" section

3. Choose whether you want to display the header on just the Cover page, All Resume pages, or Both the Cover page and All resume pages.

4. Upload your logo under the “upload header logo” option.

5. You can choose whether you wish to display the candidate details in the header section

6. Under “Recruiter Information” you can add the placeholders for the name of the Recruiter and the recruiter’s email/ phone or even both.

To customize this further you can also pick the background and title colors of your choice. Once you have set this up, hit “Submit” to save the template.

Similarly, you can add Footer templates as well!

If you want to share the template with your teammates, make sure you turn on the “Share with Teammates” option.

Cover Letter Templates

In certain cases, you might want to submit a Cover letter along with the CVs to your client. You can create multiple Cover letter formats for various clients within the system.

1. Click on the blue “New Cover letter” button under the Cover letter template

2. Under “Template Name” give a suitable name to identify the template.

3. Now in the text field, you can either type in the details or just copy and paste an HTML code in the Source section within the editor.

You can also use candidate placeholders in the cover letter body to auto-populate data from the candidate profiles.

4. You can choose to add links/ images and format the text (font type, size, alignment, etc) as per your preference.

5. Once you are done don’t forget to hit “Submit”.

P.S. When you add a Cover letter to the formatted CV/resume, it will be added to the first page of the CV file.

Watermark Template

You can further brand your Formatted Resume by adding Watermarks.

1. Click on the “New watermark” button under Watermark templates.

2. In the pop-up menu, give an appropriate template name.

3. You can now choose whether you want to have the Watermark on just the Cover page, on All Resume pages, or Both Cover page and All Resume pages.

4. Under “WaterMark Text”, you can add the name of your company. Make sure this field is filled in as it is a mandatory field.

5. Under “Upload header logo” you can upload your logo if you wish to have it in the watermark.

6. You can also choose the font size, color, and opacity of the “Watermark text” from here.

7. Once you have finished up, hit “Submit” to save the template.

Hope this helps! You might also want to check out the Resume/CV Formatting article for more details on this feature!
