A favicon is the small icon that represents your website and appears in the browser address bar. It helps visitors quickly recognize your site, improves brand visibility, and gives your careers page a polished and professional look.
A favicon also makes your website easier to identify when multiple tabs are open and helps it appear more recognizable and trustworthy in browser tabs and search results.
🖼️ How to upload a favicon
All Recruit Craft users can upload and manage a favicon directly from the Settings section.
Go to the Settings panel on your left and click on the Favicon option.
Upload your favicon file by clicking on the Upload Favicon button.
Supported formats and size
When uploading a favicon, make sure it meets the following requirements:
Supported formats - ico, png, gif, or jpg
Recommended size - 32 x 32 pixels
Maximum file size allowed - 30 KB
Using the correct size and format ensures the favicon displays properly across browsers.
4. Once uploaded, you can also preview how the favicon will appear in the browser address bar. This helps you confirm that the icon looks clear and aligns with your brand.
You can update or replace your favicon at any time by repeating these steps. Once updated, the new favicon will automatically reflect on your website and in the browser address bar.
❌ Removing a Favicon
If you no longer want to use a favicon, you can remove it easily from the settings.
Go to Settings in Recruit Craft.
Locate the favicon section.
Click on the Remove button.
Once removed, the favicon will no longer appear in the browser address bar.
