What this feature does and when to use it?
The Nested Custom Fields feature allows you to create parent-child relationships between custom fields, ensuring that only relevant field options are displayed based on selections. This helps organize complex data more effectively, improves data accuracy, reduces input errors, and provides a more guided data entry experience for your team.
Use this feature when:
• You want to improve data organization across Candidates, Companies, Contacts, Jobs, or Deals.
• You want to reduce data entry errors by displaying only relevant choices.
• You are managing complex data sets that require multiple levels of field dependencies.
Important Notes
Nested Fields are available for all entities (Candidates, Companies, Contacts, Jobs, and Deals) in the Admin Settings under the respective Custom Fields section.
One Child field can have only one direct Parent field.
Multi-level dependencies are supported up to 5 levels deep, i.e., each parent field can have up to 5 child fields (siblings).
Unlinking a Parent-Child Relationship is possible only if the child field has no dependencies.
Deleting Parent Fields is restricted until all child fields are unlinked.

5. Select the 'Parent field' and the 'Child field' from the dropdown list.
6. Now you can 'Map the Dependency' according to your requirements i.e., you can select the 'Child field' options that need to be shown when a specific option is selected under the 'Parent field' and click on 'Save'.
7. To view the linked fields, you can click on the 'View' option next to the 'Field Dependency' section.
8. You can unlink/edit/add more fields by selecting the respective option under the 'Dependency Actions' column.
