Social profile links in Recruit CRM allow you to store and access multiple social media profiles directly within candidate, contact, and company records.
You can open these profiles instantly, add custom platforms with your own icons, and control which fields are visible to your team, helping you keep records organized, relevant, and easy to navigate.
You can use this feature when you want to:
• Quickly access Social Media profiles from within a record.

• Add custom social platforms to suit your unique requirements.
Before you begin:
• You need access to candidate, contact, or company records.
• Admin Settings access is required to create and manage custom social fields.
Step-by-step instructions
From the edit form
To add social profile links, open the specific record and click on the pencil icon to edit.
2. This will open the Edit Record form for that record. In the edit form, scroll down to the Social Profile Links section. Here, you can paste the relevant URLs. By default, fields are available for platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Xing, and GitHub.
Once added, click Submit to save the changes.
Quick edit from the profile page
You can also edit social profile links directly from the profile view without opening the full Edit form.
Hover next to the Profile Links section until the pencil icon appears, and click on the Pencil icon.
2. A small edit window will open, allowing you to add or update social profile links for the record. Once done, click Save.
The updated links will appear as icons on the profile, and you can click any icon to open the corresponding social media page in a new tab.
View and access social profiles
From the profile view
Social profile icons appear at the top of the record profile once links are added. Click any icon to open the corresponding profile in a new tab
From the record Preview
To quickly view all social media links from the list page, click the Preview (eye icon) next to the record.
This opens a preview of the profile, where all associated social profile links are visible. You can click any icon to directly open the corresponding social media profile in a new tab.
Create custom social profile fields
You can create custom social profile fields with their own icons, in addition to the default ones provided by Recruit CRM.
From Admin Settings
Go to Admin Settings → Data Customization and select record type (Candidate / Contact / Company)
Click + New Custom Field
Enter field name (e.g. Telegram, Threads, etc)
Set field type → Social Profile
Upload a logo to represent the platform. This logo appears as the icon on the record. If you need to download social media logos, you can use Brandfetch to find and download logos for different platforms.
Click Save to create the field.
From the record's Profile Page
Navigate to the record's profile where you wish to add the new Social Profile link, click the + icon next to Profile Links and enter the details for the new social profile, including the profile name, URL, and logo. Once done, click Save to add the link.
Control visibility of social profile fields
You can control which social profile fields are visible on the Edit form and profile view. For example, if you only want to see Xing and LinkedIn and hide Twitter, Facebook, or GitHub because they are not relevant, you can change their visibility.
To adjust visibility:
Go to Admin Settings → Data Customization and then select the required record type (Candidate, Contact, or Company)
Scroll to the Social Profile Links section
Toggle fields ON or OFF based on your preference
Click Save to apply the changes
Fields that are turned off will no longer appear on the add or edit form.
